The whole cage. There are three tube entrances at different levels that go to the “food box” and also the litter box.

The Food box is on top, the litter box is below. The ferrets learn it very well and it keeps everything nice and tidy. The boxes are just rubbermaids with holes cut in them, I attached an exhaust fan to the litter box that ties into the venting for the dryer. It keeps the litter smell down to nonexistent, and makes the ferrets that much happier!

The food box. I drilled a bunch of holes in the lid and poked christmas lights through to light it up a little. the litter boxes has the same lighting.

There are two cameras, a light, a fan, and a web activated treat dispenser. One camera is pointed at the middle of the cage, where a large hammock is. The Fan is a tiny 3″ fan pointed at the hammock. the other camera points at our treat dispenser that YOU control! The light shines on the treat area and the hammock area

*NOTE* I use Paul’s X-10 Web Interface to make this work.

Instructions

1. A click takes 4-6 sec. to register.
2. If the picture is Black,Turn on the Backlight.
   If the picture is static, turn on one of the cameras.
3. Click the “On” button next to either camera to toggle between them.
   If you click and the controls are replaced by error text, too many people were pushing a button at the same time. simply hit your browsers back button and try again.
4. Hammock Fan
   If you see ferrets on the Hammock Cam, turn the Fan on/off to interact with them.
5. Treat Dispenser
   You can press the treat button to dispense a small amount of treats to them. A sound beeps to alert them. Be sure to switch to the treat cam first!
6. You can chat in the chat room below as well. To change your name in the chat room, type /nick username where ‘username’ is whatever you want it to be!
